Bardonecchia is one of the few resorts with a railway station in the village: the regional train from Turin Porta Nuova takes about 1h15 and is a genuinely good option if you travel light and your accommodation is near the station. From the airport, though, you first need to reach the city, and with ski bags and kids the changes add up.
